一、教学课题

人教版新目标九年级英语Go for it!  Unit 9 I like music that I can dance to.Period 1 The Attributive Clause

二、教材分析Teaching Material Analysis

本单元的核心话题是音乐和电影,借助这一话题,实现谈论喜好的功能。本单元的语言结构是定语从句,这一语言结构在初中阶段的学习限于本单元,是最难理解和掌握的,需要大量的语言操练才能实现。所以在第一课时设计了这样一堂听说语法课,在创设的具体情境中去掌握定语从句的用法。

三、学生情况分析( Analysis of the students )

    学习本单元之前,学生已经学过许多表达喜好的方式。但是用定语从句来表达喜好,对于学生来说,有一定的难度。教师要通过各种不同的语境跟学生交流,或者给学生提供不同的语境让学生互相练习,使学生扎实地掌握并运用定语从句表达喜好。

四、教学目标分析Teaching aims and demands

1.知识目标(Knowledge objectives

1) 能掌握以下单词及短语:prefer, lyrics, peaceful, dance to, sing along with.

2)掌握I like /love/prefer music that…表达喜欢的音乐。

3)掌握I like music that I can dance to. 

I like students who are hard-working.  句型的用法。

4) 学习关系代词that/who引导的定语从句。

2.技能目标(Ability objectives

1) 通过学习本课,学生能够用定语从句表达喜好。(Through learning this course, students can use attributive clauses to express preferences.)

2) 提高学生的听说读写技能(Improve the skills of Ss’ listening , speaking, reading and writing)。

3) 鼓励学生实践、参与和通力合作活动(Encourage Ss to practice, participate, and co-operate in the activities

3.情感目标(Moral objectives

1) 使学生学会谈论自己的喜好, 通过表达个人喜好,提高学生欣赏美的水平.

2) 通过各种情境活动,加强学生爱校意识,培养学生的集体荣誉感。

3) 能在小组活动中积极与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成学习任务。

五、教学重点与难点(Teaching key points and difficult points

1. 教学重点:1prefer, different kinds of, sing along with的用法。

2)句型:I like music that I can dance to.

       I like students who are hard-working.

2. 教学难点:学习关系代词that/who引导的定语从句。

六、教学工具Teaching aids

图片、真人实物、多媒体及电脑软件等。

七、教学方法、教学策略

本课我主要采取了以下几种教学方法。

1. 5P 教学法(Preparation- Presentation- Practice- Production- Progress

“5P教学法强调以结构——功能——交际为主的教学模式,加大了语言的输入输出量,大大提高了课堂目标语言的操练频率。整个教学活动中语言的复现率是比较高的,所以学生掌握起来相对比较容易。

2.交际教学法Communicative teaching method:本单元的话题源自生活,立足这一点,充分利用学生已有的知识和经验,创设贴近生活的真实情境,引导学生在运用中学习语言,然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言,真正达到为用而学,在用中学,学了能用

3.视听教学法(Audio –visual teaching method

听音、看多媒体图文是英语学习的重要方法,也是课堂教学的重要步骤,在听和看的过程中可以感知,可以模仿。

4. 任务型教学法(Task—based teaching method

设计多种任务活动,提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究学习。

5.鼓励教学法(Encouraged teaching method

课堂上能及时的对学生的表演、表现进行肯定的评价,这样学生能从老师的表扬中进一步找到自信,为了得到更多的表扬,他们会更加努力,这样能大大地提高学生的积极性和学习兴趣,教学效果也会得到很大提升。

本堂课我主要采取了以下几种教学策略:

1.让学生观察课件画面,回答问题,学会使用认知策略;

2.让学生表演对话,实现交际策略;

3.引导学生交际、主动练习和实践,是知识运用策略的体现;

4.充分利用多媒体、录音等是资源策略。

八、学习策略:

1.自主学习:要求学生采用自主学习的方式,能根据需要进行有目的的预习,使其对教师的教学内容起到补充作用。

2.合作学习:学生通过师生对话、彼此对话以及小组活动,与他人一起明确任务并努力去完成任务,这样可以培养学生的合作意识和团队精神。

3.情境学习:通过学校活动视频,学校图片,创设情景和有意义的任务活动,激发学生的学习热情,把被动的学习变为主动学习,让学生让愉悦的学生氛围中掌握所学语言知识。

九、教学过程Teaching procedure

Step. Warming up & Preparation

T: How are you?  S: I’m fine, thank you.

T: I’m very very glad to see you.

Do you like the sunny weather?

Do you like the music in your heart?

S: Yes, we do .

 

Step . Presentation

1. T: OK, let’s enjoy some music. Please sit straight, breathe deeply, close your eyes and listen to the music.(让学生坐笔直,深呼吸,闭上双眼,凝神静听【卷珠帘】。)

Say: ...

Ask: Do you like the music? Why?

S1: Because it sounds beautiful.

S2: Because it is quiet and gentle.

S3: Because the lyrics are great.

S4:Because it makes me feel comfortable.

S5: Because it isn’t too loud.

S6: Because it can touch my heart../...

Say: I like it too. It’s my favorite song.

Also, I can say: I like music that is quiet and gentle.

然后让学生试着说出其他的定语从句。

 I like music that isn’t too loud.

 I prefer  (=like better )music that has great lyrics.

2.教师播放学生较熟悉流行歌曲<小苹果>

T: What do you want to do when you listen to the music?

S1: I want to dance to it.

S2: I want to sing along with it.

S3: ...

Help the students to say the sentences:

I like music that I can sing along with.

I love music that I can dance to.

 

Step Practice

1) Teacher asks one student : What kind of music do you like? Then they ask each other the same question. After that, ask students to make their own conversations.

2)      {C}播放三段视频

Ask: Who is she?(出示贺思颖照片)

Ss: She is He Siying.

Yes, she is He Siying.

What kind of music does she like?播放录像

 出示程校长照片Say, this is our headmaster Mr. Cheng

What kind of music does he like?

Help students to answer using attributive clauses.

通过第三段视频引出 Who 引导的定语从句。

 Say: They are hard-working.

     They can dance well.

     They are good at dancing.

 Then help students use the attributive clause sentences to describe them.

3. Conclude.

 Conclude the use of attributive clause and do some exercises.(此处完全了解并巩固定语从句)

 

Step Production

1. Show some pictures about our school, classroom, bedrooms, dining room. Guide students to describe these places using the attributive clauses.

2. Show some pictures about our teachers and classmates, guide students to describe them using the attributive clauses.

 

Step Progress

Do a survey.(出示几个topic)

Say: Choose one topic, and then ask your group members. At last, you should give us your report using the attributive clauses. (此环节令人惊喜)

(选择34个学生上讲台做小组报告,报告完后,请他\她选择一张图片,每个图片的下面隐藏着神秘大礼。事先准备好礼品;notebook, apple, cola)

Step VI. Summary

1.In this class, we should remember and grasp the new words and the sentences.

2.Before the class is over, the best group will be judged by the grades. Competition is ended. I believe my students may have a happy and exciting English class.

Write down more attributive clauses.
